Back in AL

We both had so much fun visiting home last weekend. Josh really enjoyed the quality time with his brother and father! They did a lot of man things and had a great time. I was able to spend a lot of quality time with mom and Nate (when he wasn't hunting too). I haven't been able to just goof off and relax when we made a trip home in a while. I also got to catch up with an old friend. I enjoyed some mother-in-law/daughter-in-law time also! We made stew and talked about the boys. I was also introduced to the Wii.....that was interesting! Josh preached at Glendale on Sunday so we had a good time catching up with some of the people there. and today some people came to look at our couch....so I think we will be looking for a new one soon. I can't wait to be home for Christmas....I can't wait to put up Christmas decorations but Josh said he won't help if I do it before thanksgiving. I would have had them up a month ago if I could! I am so excited about decorating 'our home' for our third christmas together...yay! Hope all is well with all of you!

Oh P.S. We also got to spend some time with the LeMasters and hear some about his professional ball career before he became an elder in the Lords church!

Halloween

Since we won't be in Jacksonville for Fall Fest I decided to wear my festive Halloween things to the College devotional tonight! Well, we carved a pumpkin for the first time this year! Yay!
Also, Saturday, Josh busted his radiator.....so we are now having to fix the truck!
We will be able to come home in a few weeks I am so excited....
I guess that is about all.......
Maybe more next time!

Josh and Ash

Pumped!

So, Hanson (yes, they are still around) will be coming to Birmingham next week and I am so excited! I think I will be going...even though Josh won't go with me....I am talking to some of the students here about going along with me.
On a different note....we are having company this weekend. Josh's grandparents are coming down and are bringing Clay-Hunter and Ana....we will have a good few days....and good food! I am ready!
Well...Josh and I are fixing to head out to go squirrel hunting!

Here we go again.

I really don't like not having the internet at home....but it is so stinkin expensive! Anyway, the picture above is the nice burn I received from accidentally touching the muffler on the lawn mower. Ouch! Then as if being burned wasn't enough...it got infected! So here we go with another round of antibiotics!
Well we are finally completely settled into our house, except for bringing home the day bed and taking back Hank and Angie's coffee table. I am ready for it to be time to put up our Christmas tree in our first home! Josh wouldn't let me put it up yet...so it is in the attic and we can finally park in the garage!
Well, I have to get busy making name placemats for the adopt-a-student fellowship meal on Sunday. Then I think we are going on a date tonight!
Love you all!

One more day!

Only one day left to this busy weekend! The yard sale is over! We made $60ish yesterday and about the same today. We donated the rest of the things to Center of Hope. Since the yard sale is over..that means...I can park my car in the garage!! It is in there now! So, all I have left is to get ready for the Mary Kay sell tomorrow. Lets hope it goes well also!!
Love you all,

Craziness!

We are back from Polishing the Pulpit. We thought we were having company the same weekend we got back, but didn't after all. We are getting ready this week to finally have our yard sale! I am also having a big Mary Kay Clearance sale sunday! I am trying to make room in the garage for my car!
Things are going well. All of the students are back from summer break. We have gained a few new students. I am excited to get back in to the swing of things. We are already trying to plan a girls night for all of them. Well I should really go get busy pricing things for the yard sale tomorrow.
Love you all
josh and ash.

I did it!

Hey everyone,

We are having a great week hearing different speakers and catching up with friends. It would be nice if we had a little more free time...but that is what vacations are for and this is actually work. I heard Shelia Butt speak for the first time today and she was wonderful! We had dinner today with a lot of friends from different areas of our lives, we ate with friends from around Jacksonville and friends from back home and they all had the opportunity to get to know each other.

We are heading to bed for another long day of recording tomorrow.

Later,

Josh and Ash

P.S. the picture is of the Talapia I ate at Red Lobster with macadamian nuts and coconut and a thin white chocolate sauce. The best thing I have ever put in my mouth!!
